Editorial policy

How articles are written

Many articles start from public sources such as Health Canada notices, manufacturer announcements and published research. First drafts are drafted with the help of AI and are always rewritten in our own words. We never republish other publishers' articles, and every article lists the sources it relies on.

How articles are reviewed

Every article is reviewed and approved by an editor before it is published. Articles that discuss treatment effectiveness, risks, side effects, dosing or recovery are also reviewed by a regulated clinician. Those articles show "Medically reviewed by" with the reviewer's name, credentials and the review date. If an article is changed after review, it is taken down until it is reviewed again.

Clinics

Articles don't recommend, rank or compare clinics. Who publishes this site is stated at the bottom of every page.

Corrections

If you believe something on this site is inaccurate or out of date, please tell us and include the page address. We review every correction request and update articles when needed.
